Songs

This page has some of the favourite Chelsea songs sang at games. It curently includes listings of the lyrics, if you can call them that, of the songs and chants of the best supporters in the country. There are also some rough, atmospheric, sound files to download.

One report found that Chelsea fans have more songs that include swear words than any other club in the country, and given this is a family website it means only the 'cleaner' songs are included here! Corrections & additions welcomed.

Ten Men Went to Mow

One man went to mow,
Went to mow a meadow,
(aside) Meadow!,
One man and his dog,
(aside) Spot!,
Went to mow a meadow,

Two men went to mow,

(aside) Meadow!
Two men, one man and his dog,
(aside) Spot!
Went to mow a meadow,

Went to mow a meadow,
(aside) Meadow! Three men, two men, one man and his dog,
(aside) Spot!

Blue is the Colour

Blue is the colour, football is the game
We're all together, and winning is our aim
So cheer us on through the sun and rain
'cause Chelsea, Chelsea is our name

Here at the Bridge whether rain or fine
We can shine all the time
Home or away, come and see us play
You're welcome any day

Blue is the colour, football is the game
We're all together, and winning is our aim
So cheer us on through the sun and rain
'cause Chelsea, Chelsea is our name

Come to the Shed and we'll welcome you
Wear your blue and see us through
Sing loud and clear until the game is done
Sing Chelsea everyone.

Super Chelsea

And it's super Chelsea
Super Chelsea F.C
We're by far the greatest team...
the world has ever seen
(repeat)

Super Frank

Super, super Frank
Super, super Frank
Super, super Frank
Super Frankie Lampard

Come along, come along
Come along and sing this song
We're the boys in blue
In Division Two
But we won't be staying long

Benches give us a song, benches benchs give us a song!

We are the Chelsea Boys
We are the Chelsea boys
We learn all our manners
We spend all our tanners
We’re respected wherever we go

We all go marching down the old Kings Road
All the windows open wide
You can hear our Mothers ( Muvvers ) shout
Put them bloody ( blooming ) woodbines out
We are the CHELSEA BOYS

Sung in the 1930's and 1940's at the Bridge
